Exclusive Credit Cards

To get an exclusive credit card you are going to have to jump through a few more hoops than normal. These can be various things depending on the card. To qualify to get certain cards you will usually be required to spend a large amount of money every month, every quarter or every year on another card (like a gold or platinum card) and then get invited to join the exclusive card. Other cards might be exclusive to the 100 members with the most money in their bank account.

What do you get for your money - well some of the actual cards are worth a lot of money, actually being made of expensive metals such as gold, platinum, palladium, or diamonds embedded into the cards!

Some of these cards have an annual fee - but a lot don't (as the banks make so much money out of their clients for using them) or you get your money back if you spend over a certain amount of money.

The banks will give out various awards such as tickets to the superbowl final or world cup final etc.

They get their money bank by charging massive fees on purchases - these can be as high a 4% - so if you were to buy a $100,000 diamond ring (as you do) they would charge $4000 for the privilege. By having a minimum yearly spend of say $250,000, the credit card company will make back $10,000!
